Texas Civil Justice League PAC Endorses Glenn Hegar for Comptroller
Austin – The Glenn Hegar Campaign announced today that the Texas Civil Justice League PAC (TCJL PAC) has endorsed Glenn Hegar in the November 4th general election race for Comptroller of Public Accounts.
“TCJL PAC is proud to endorse Senator Hegar for Comptroller of Public Accounts,” said John Fainter, Chairman of the TCJL Executive Committee and the TCJL PAC Advisory Committee. “The Comptroller’s office is vital to the efficient administration of Texas’ fiscal system, the fair and equitable treatment of the businesses and individuals that pay taxes in our state, and the continued growth of our economy. Senator Hegar has the experience, background, and qualifications to do the job.”
Founded in 1986, the Texas Civil Justice League advocates for a fair and balanced judicial system in Texas. The Austin-based group is the oldest and largest state legal reform organization in the nation with membership comprised of corporate businesses, law firms, professional and trade associations, health care providers, and individual citizens. It has more than 5,000 members in Texas.
“I am proud to be endorsed by one of the largest legal reform organizations in our state,” said Hegar. “The legal reforms implemented in Texas have helped create a business environment that has produced the strongest state economy in our nation.”
