Dear Friends,

I have been extremely honored and humbled by all of the encouragement I have received from my supporters and leaders in our community to seek the Texas Senate seat being vacated by Senator Troy Fraser. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Senator Fraser and the work he has done for our community. Texas is losing a true public servant, but I respect his decision.

After much prayer, consideration, and discussion with my wife, Sherry, I am excited to announce that I will seek re-election to the Texas House of Representatives.

Throughout my time in the Texas House, we have made incredible progress advancing the conservative cause. I am proud of our work expanding Texans’ 2nd Amendment rights, protecting innocent life, reducing the size of government, and setting Texas on a path toward continued prosperity by providing the infrastructure necessary for our rapidly growing economy.

Though we have enjoyed countless successes over the last few years, I believe there is much more to be done and that I can best serve our community by representing southern and western Travis County as the State Representative for House District 47.

I want to thank you for the friendship and support you have shown me in the past and ask that you will again put your faith in me in the upcoming election.

For Texas,

Paul Workman

P.S. I hope to get a chance to visit with each of you while I’m out on the campaign trail. As always, please let me know if I can help you in any way.
