Governor Abbott Appoints Stretcher To Eleventh Court Of Appeals
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Keith Stretcher to the Eleventh Court of Appeals for a term set to expire on December 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
Keith Stretcher of Midland is the former city attorney for the City of Midland, serving for 23 years. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Midland County Bar Association, and a former member and president of the Texas City Attorneys Association. Additionally, he is the first vice chairman of the Midland Development Corporation, a Governmental Affairs Board member and former Executive Committee member for the Midland Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of the Midland Christian School Advisory Board. Stretcher received a Bachelor of Science from East Texas State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
